It’s also the small things…

Sometimes, small things which we ignore or left behind may turn out to be the most critical element at end. This is true in business as well as in real life. Do we need to achieve big goals? Yes. Shall we focus on that? Yes. But at the same time is also necessary to keep a tab on all things which are small but relevant to our larger goal.

For e.g. consider the case of a recent military satellite built by Japan. Japanese desperately wanted to launch three X-band satellites to meet communication and bandwidth demand of Japan’s Self Defence Forces. They built the satellite, tested it, packaged it and sent it to Europe's space port at French Guiana. However, during transportation, blue "tarpaulin blocked valves used to equalize its container’s internal air pressure as it descended into thicker atmosphere when landing in French Guiana two government sources said". Now to fix the issue and launch the satellite might take one more year.
